The filter is specifically designed to overpower the UV spectrum contained in daylight that mainly causes poor image quality. Additionally, the 77mm UX Filter can be used as an everyday protection as the filter features anti-reflection coating which effectively prevents unwanted reflections and transmittance light, a water-repellent coating, and it features a slim frame in order to avoid vignette.
